Cat Stevens Tribute Band
Pop History: Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam)
Who doesn't know the great hits by CAT STEVENS: Father And Son, Moonshadow, Morning Has Broken, Wild World...
His songs convey a time when "all things were tall and our friends were small".
Eigner has dedicated himself to the life and work of the world star for many years. With his band AL & THE FIRECATS, he played numerous Cat Stevens tribute concerts from 2003 to 2010, including several in England. In a two-hour programme, he sings Cat Stevens' greatest hits, talks about important episodes from his life and tries to give the audience an understanding of the content of his song lyrics.
Eigner has also written a biography of Cat Stevens and recorded his songs in German (CD "Tee für Yusuf/Cat Stevens").

FABIENNE VELINA
Greatest Thing
FABIENNE VELINA is a young, up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Klagenfurt who has been dedicating herself to music for over 17 years. In May 2024, she took the plunge into the public eye and released her debut single Homesick. Within just five months, the song achieved an impressive 13,000 views on Spotify - a great success for the talented newcomer.
Her second single I'll Rise followed in August 2024, a song with a deeply personal message that is particularly close to Fabienne Velina's heart. With its emotional depth and authentic storytelling, she is convinced that this song deserves a wider reach. Fabienne is currently working on her third single Greatest Thing, which will be released soon, while the release of her debut album Souls is scheduled for fall 2025.
In addition to her work on new releases, Fabienne Velina will participate as a songwriter and singer in the world premiere of QUEERinthia, an innovative project dealing with queer themes, from March 2025. This collaboration underlines her versatility and commitment to socially relevant issues.

Beach Band
The 25 Years Beach Band Gala - Part 1 + 2
Almost exactly to the day, the BEACH BAND has been in the service of good vibrations for 25 years!
What was originally planned as a pure Beach Boys tribute now includes, not entirely illogically, the great hits of the Flower Power era as well as, for some years now, endearing songs with style from the - well, not entirely uncontroversial - Lemon Popsicle-films.
HARRY HOLLER, THOMAS GOSCHAT, ROLF HOLUB and GERT PRIX looked back on 25 exciting years in a double concert - each with a different programme, of course.
From the beginnings at Lake Wörthersee to the Donauinselfest (German for "Danube Island Festival", Vienna).

Wolfgang A.
Ollas Leiwaund am Zentralfriedhof
(Everything at its best at Vienna Central Cemetery)
ROCK HISTORY: GEORG DANZER, WOLFGANG AMBROS
On the 50th anniversary of two legendary Austro Pop albums
April 1975: Wolfgang Ambros - Es lebe der Zentralfriedhof (Long Live The Vienna Central Cemetery)
October 1975: Georg Danzer - Ollas leiwaund (Everything Is Fine)
Within just six months, Austro Pop, which was still quite young at the time, experienced two eruptive releases that are still considered milestones 50 years later. And quite rightly so!
On 2 May, the band WOLFGANG A will play both albums for the first time (and who knows, perhaps for the last time?), each in their entirety and in their original order, plus singles and B-sides from 1975 that were not released on these long-playing records. The local pop history special will be complemented by suitable text excerpts from Ambros and Danzer biographies.

Yet Another Floyd
Pop History - Best Of Pink Floyd
YET ANOTHER FLOYD is THE Austrian PINK FLOYD tribute band. The elaborate show with ten musicians from Upper Austria claims to be a performance true to the original.
"A large part of the band has already successfully played shows with the music of PINK FLOYD 25 years ago," says singer and band leader Reinhard "Fussy" Petershofer. Great importance is attached to the original sound. Months of tinkering were done to perform live e.g. the guitar sound of David Gilmour as perfect as possible.
A time travel through more than 40 years of PINK FLOYD history will be presented. In addition to rarities, the very big hits like Another Brick In The Wall, Time or Wish You Were Here are of course on the setlist. With their music, the sounds and the visual design of their records and stage performances, PINK FLOYD created an unmistakable and, at the time, completely new style that shaped the listening habits of generations in rock and pop music and thus set standards.
YET ANOTHER FLOYD offers the audience a concert evening with distinctive, sophisticated and spherical rock music, played live and packed into a stage show with bombastic sound.

Marble Breaks And Iron Bends - The Hit Revue
An evening with Prof. Christian Bruhn
According to Wikipedia, Carinthian musicians may well have played a small part in the avalanche of hits that hit German pop music after the war thanks to ▸ CHRISTIAN BRUHN: "Bruhn spent the Second World War with his sister and his mother between 1940 and 1945 in Carinthia (Austria), where he was influenced by Austrian folk music."
After the war, Christian Bruhn took piano lessons in Hamburg, studied harmony and counterpoint, studied composition and clarinet at the Musikhochschule and played as a professional pianist in jazz combos. In 1953, he wrote the music for a short film for the first time. In 1956, he began working as a sound assistant at Spezial Record, where he later worked as a freelance arranger and producer. In 1959, Bruhn met the publisher Peter Meisel. Together with Meisel, he founded the soon extremely successful Hansa Musik Produktion as a production company, music publisher and record label.
Together with lyricist ▸ GEORG BUSCHOR, he scored his first million-selling hit in 1960, the song Midi-Midinette sung by CONNY FROBOESS. In 1962, the duo won the German Schlager Festival with Conny Froboess with the song Zwei Kleine Italiener.
In 1962, Bruhn met MANUELA, who, together with CHARLOTTE MARIAN, Bruhn's wife at the time, formed a girl group and took on the role of soloist. With a German version of Blame It On The Bossa Nova, this group was successful right from the start and became a million-seller. Bruhn composed and/or produced at least 16 titles for Manuela.
In 1963, Bruhn and Meisel came across DRAFI DEUTSCHER at a talent competition, who subsequently stormed the charts with several hits written by the Bruhn team. The million-seller Marmor Stein und Eisen bricht, sung by Drafi Deutscher and penned by Bruhn, and its English version Marble Breaks And Iron Bends eventually made it to the Olympus of evergreens. As a composer and/or producer, Bruhn subsequently characterised the style of Drafi Deutscher with at least 30 titles.
Liebeskummer lohnt sich nicht, written for the Swede SIW MALMKVIST, also became a million-seller in 1964.
MIRELLE MATHIEU's first major German-language hit, Hinter den Kulissen von Paris, which appeared in 1969, was composed and produced by Bruhn. He composed and produced over 100 other songs for her, including the million-sellers Akropolis Adieu and La Paloma Ade.
Bruhn achieved another major international success at the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Wunder gibt es immer wieder, sung by Bruhn's future wife KATJA EBSTEIN. Bruhn himself was at the conductor's desk at the time. Bruhn was involved in over 100 other music titles for Katja Ebstein as a producer and/or composer.
WENCKE MYHRE, FREDDY QUINN, ROY BLACK, MICHAEL KUNZE, PETER MAFFAY, ROBERTO BLANCO (Ein bisschen Spaß muss sein) and MICHAEL SCHANZE (Oh wie wohl ist mir) also sang Bruhn, and not only them.
Heidi became a huge hit. Written by Bruhn and sung by the folk music duo GITTI UND ERIKA GOETZ, the film score to the Japanese TV series of the same name sold over 40 million copies worldwide.
What happened in the 80s? You'll have to find out for yourself ▸ on Wikipedia (unfortunately only in german language - please use a translation programme).
For now we can sit back, relax and look forward to a very special evening with PROF. CHRISTIAN BRUHN at the EBOARDMUSEUM.
Oh yes, and don't forget to book your seats in good time...

Wolfgang Weyrer hands over to Gerhard Marin
The most important job at the Eboardmuseum - the bar - is being re-staffed
Of course, a bar can be incredibly important. Almost life-saving, as anyone who has ever been on the verge of dying of thirst knows.
On 25 April 2025, after many years of exemplary management, WOLFGANG WEYRER left this life raft and handed it over to a new captain: restaurateur GERHARD MARIN, former tenant of the "Kirchenwirt" in St. Kanzian and current operator of a café in Klagenfurt Südpark. Gerhard Marin surprised the guests of the EBOARDMUSEUM with a buffet as an introductory gift during the interval.
Here are a few photos of the two of them from the handover on the stage of the EBOARDMUSEUM and from the bar, where Gerhard was immediately in his element:

The Cream of Eric Clapton
Five Styrians in the footsteps of Eric Clapton
Eric Clapton - a name that has stood for unrivalled guitar playing and great emotions for decades. He was idolised by his fans back in the 1960s, when he achieved worldwide fame with the supergroup CREAM. "Clapton is God" could be read on a London house wall at the time - a sign that reflected the exceptional status of one of the most versatile and soulful guitarists of all time.
The Austrian formation THE CREAM OF ERIC CLAPTON, centred around guitarist Herbert Felber, brings the musical legacy of the guitar master to life in an impressive way. With a line-up of renowned top musicians, they present the greatest hits from the musical oeuvre of Mr "Slowhand" - from rousing classics such as Layla to touching ballads such as Tears In Heaven.
On the occasion of Eric Clapton's 80th birthday, the audience will be treated to an evening full of passion, nostalgia and masterful guitar sounds - a tribute to a legend who continues to inspire generations to this day.

Tobacco Road Blues Band
IV
The TRBB has been around since 2013, whereby the musicians around founding members Mike Diwald and Peter Prammerdorfer started out as a typical blues cover band.
At some point, just playing the blues hits of Clapton, King, Johnson and co. was simply no longer enough for the bluesmen, so they quickly wrote their own songs. The first CD with exclusively self-composed material was released in 2017. Disc number 2 followed in 2018, and a live DVD called Live at the Museum was released the following year, while the band continued to work on new material.
Like all other artists, the pandemic naturally put a spanner in the works of the Tobaccos' live activities, but this did not dampen their creativity. The band has an international network of renowned musicians and so during the lockdown an album Papa Legba was created, which was realised with the participation of numerous musicians not only from Austria, but also Italy, Germany and the USA. This CD was presented in July 2021.
Despite all the fun of working in the studio, the TRBB is first and foremost a live band that was delighted to finally get back into concert mode after the pandemic-related break. This was followed by gigs at home and abroad and, of course, at the EBOARDMUSEUM, where we were welcoming them again in March 2025.
The first concert was sold out within a short time, which is why a repeat performance was organised the following day.

Tarantino Experience
Best Of Movie - Fifties - Sixties - Seventies
Leave the theater and get immersed in the live spectacle! When Ennio Morricone’s Oscar-winning title music from The Hateful Eight is heard and five dusky figures make their way through the audience, the following two hours are dedicated to cult director Quentin Tarantino.
The audience is both amazed and trembling when the protagonists arrive at the stage. This is followed by a musical retrospective of Mr. Tarantino's work that captivates the audience with her staging. In the Love Medley, Mr. Brown shows himself from his tender side, only to swing Hattori Hanzo's sword a short time later. In the Inglourious Basterds Medley, Mr. Orange presents his knowledge of German, whereas Mr. White fires off the intro to Bombtrack with his winning smile. Mr. Blonde pushes to the front of the stage for Misirlou and Mr. Pink finally beams himself into delirium. Furthermore, the whole show is peppered with a lot of flair from Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.
From Surfrock to Disco, from Pulp Fiction to Once Upon A Time in Hollywood - this show is a true experience, not only for Tarantino fans.
„Gentlemen, you had my curiosity, now you have my attention.“

PETER MAYR PROJECT
Waves
Pop jazz rock - world music in the sense of film soundtracks and very entertaining: Peter Mayr Project, with influences from greats such as Joe Zawinul, Pat Metheny (or Deep Purple?) on the road since 1984.
The Peter Mayr Project first came together in 1984 as a conglomerate of studio musicians who knew each other from live jobs and studio recordings, and since then has mainly been involved in high-quality studio recordings with a changing line-up.
Since 2008, the band has been playing in clubs all over Europe for a small, select audience of music connoisseurs.
The PMP mainly plays instrumental music, in which humour also plays an important role. Frank Zappa sends his regards.
