Instrumental music - singing - comedy - dance - or storyteller - or whatever ... :-)

A Christmas reference is gladly possible, but not mandatory!

Medieval & Spanish Blues.....Progressive Blues

“A breathtaking acoustic fusion of blues, jazz, folk, classical and Spanish guitar from a stunning guitar virtuoso…” Altadena News, USA

Ready for a unique and talented take on a wide range of musical traditions? Claude Bourbon is known throughout Europe and America for amazing guitar performances that take blues, Spanish, and Middle Eastern stylings into uncharted territories.

Claude’s inimitable style incorporates all five digits on each hand dancing independently but in unison, plucking, picking and strumming at such speed and precision that his fingers often seem to melt into a blur. Thousands of people in the UK, Europe and USA have enjoyed listening to this virtuoso and for the majority of his audience it is an experience that compels them to return again and again to hear and watch him play, as his fingers lightly dance over the strings of his guitar and create a unique sound that is ’Claude’.

Claude has played countless venues, including Glastonbury Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Colne Great British & Blues Festival, Rock O'Z Arene, Avenches, Switzerland, among others. He has shared the stage in Europe and the USA with countless musicians, Calvin Russel, Charlie Morgan (Elton John, Gary Moore), Jan Akkerman (Focus), Steve Grossman (Miles Davis), Herbie Armstrong (Van Morisson), Jose Barrenese Dias and many more.

"Claude Bourbon weaved his songs through the audience as if on a journey through life taking in different flavours of Europe and beyond... from classical openings, across a whole continent of cultural roots, holding audience attention under a musical spell, his music would not have been out of place in the courts of Emperors and Kings." (G. Munn)

“Claude Bourbon is a unique figure today… his playing is almost indescribable“ - The Hook, Charlottesville, USA

"Never heard anyone get that much beautiful sound out of a J-45", Bob, Tucson, AZ

"His fingerpicking is exquisite and if I closed my eyes I could clearly hear two guitars playing. Just when I recongnised a theme he moved on with a mesmerising cascade of notes which kept on flowing. He added a driving bass, for a version of “She knows how to stretch it”. By the time he sang the first verse he had ‘stretched it’ from Spain to the Caucuses, and from the concert hall to the bar room. His forte is obviously his wonderful guitar work, but he does occasionally burst into song and what you then get is something between Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens, combined with a French accent! C’est magnifique.” Dave Baily

THE COUNTRY LEGENDS RIDE INTO THE EBOARDMUSEUM

Many moons passed before the stars of the country scene finally saddled their horses again to bring the greatest hits between Oklahoma and Ponderosa to the ears of us common cowboys.

Little Joe and Hoss had already booked, Billy The Kid too. And the Daltons along with their mother anyway.

Ma Baker thought about it for a bit, but then she also joined us...

And here they are, our most wanted stars of all saloons:

FUNK YOU!

Friday 29 Oct 2021 20:00

FUNK - SOUL - ROCK

funk you! is a new live formation from Carinthia, which presents well-known funk, soul and rock songs as a "power package". On a high level, a varied program with many energetic numbers as well as expressive, soulful songs is offered, which inspires connoisseurs of good music and dance-hungry alike.

The band impresses with fat brass riffs, paired with polyphonic vocals and a groovy rhythm section. The own joy of playing as well as the wow effect with the audience are equally in the center.

The nine band members are all experienced musicians who understand their craft and are united by their love of crisp funk and cool soul numbers. The line-up with soul voice, rhythm section and four-piece horn section is the perfect basis for a broad repertoire, which includes funk and soul classics and is also supplemented by funky arranged rock and pop songs.

The result is concerts to groove, enjoy and dance to, offering power paired with a lot of soul - sometimes loud and quiet, sometimes tender and hot, sometimes driven and sometimes relaxed.

We can look forward to I Feel For You (Chaka Khan), You Might Need Somebody (Randy Crawford), Sledgehammer (Peter Gabriel), Long Train Running (Doobie Brothers), Play That Funky Music (Wild Cherry), I Wish (Stevie Wonder), Superstition (Stevie Wonder), Brick House (Commodores), and with Get Here (Oleta Adams) the evening is far from over...

Band Over Troubled Water

Pop History - A Tribute To Simon And Garfunkel

A whole four years have passed since the band Over Troubled Water last gave a guest performance in Klagenfurt. But the hits of Simon & Garfunkel are so-and-so immortal, and have at best gained even more importance in this time!

The ten-piece Band Over Troubled Water around Paul Simon-look-a-like Rolf Holub, and absolutely not Art Garfunkel-look-a-like Gert Prix has taken advantage of the past years, and added more gems from the huge original repertoire to their setlist!

All the classics of this legendary duo, including perhaps even more exciting solo hits of Simon and Garfunkel!

VOODOO STRAT JIMI HENDRIX TRIBUTE BAND

Friday 15 Oct 2021 20:00

A tribute to Jimi Hendrix

VOODOO STRAT is an Italian cover band with two different live programs: Deep Purple and Jimi Hendrix. As a Deep Purple cover band they again and again perform with IAN PAICE or DON AIREY, the drummer and the keyboard player of the original DEEP PURPLE. This should be enough to describe the exceptional quality of the band.

VOODOO STRAT was supposed to play at the EBOARDMUSEUM in 2020 for the 50th anniversary of Jimi Hendrix's death. It was not meant to be, the pandemic is not into Hendrix's music. But this time it worked out and it became a really good evening!

JIMI ZANELLI | bass

Led Zeppelin's music is timeless. It has enchanted subsequent generations and set new standards for sound!

GRAND ZEPPELIN - four Led Zeppelin-enthusiastic fans - have made it their goal to bring the music of these exceptional musicians to the stage with much love and great attention to detail. And that this tribute band can do this incredibly authentically, they have already impressively proven in the EBOARDMUSEUM.

Marlyn&Stern

Friday 01 Oct 2021 20:00

Marlyn & Stern

First class folk music - it still exists!

He performs in the EBOARDMUSEUM again, the man who won the ORF "Show Chance" ex equo with Marianne Mendt in 1970, played with Carlos Santana and successfully wrote songs for Roger Whittaker. Today he is responsible for the sound of international film projects and received the Golden Gate Award for his outstanding, innovative sound design for "Stalin - the red God" (BBC). And quasi "as a sideline" ERIC SPITZER-MARLYN is also a juror for the Grammy Award.

Together with singer and actress LISA STERN, CLAUDIA ULMER and DANIEL MAURER they are Marlyn&Stern.

And Marlyn&Stern sense sound worlds from different continents, create sensitive new interpretations of traditional songs, touch through effective sound collages, let film music arise in the mind and inspire through radiant stage presence. Their musical languages are German, English, Slovenian, Friulian, Carinthian, Amerindian dialect from British Guyana, Gibberish, Arabic and Spanish. Voice and acoustic guitar, unusual stringed instruments, such as lute, mandolin, citar, ngoni and the loop device Jam Man.

Come by and relax deeply - because a concert by Marlyn&Stern is "like a week's vacation."

UDO TRIBUTE BAND

24 and 25 Sept 2021 20:00

UDO Tribute Band

Hits, rarities and classics of the great Udo Jürgens - Part I and II

UDO JÜRGENS was an Austrian composer and singer of popular music whose career spanned over fifty years. He won the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 for Austria, composed close to 1,000 songs, and sold over 100 million records.

One night is by far not long enough to present all of his greatest hits. The fact that it takes two nights to present shows how amazing the great singers' repertoire was. The eightheaded UDO TRIBUTE BAND and their special guests present UDO-Hits from the very beginning to his most recent masterpieces.

GERT PRIX | Udo

HERBERT BRANDSTÄTTER | guitar, vocals

Herbert Brandstätter and Rolf Holub

Friday 17 Sept 2021 20:00

Rolf Holub & Herbert Brandstätter

Aus - Gezeichnet

Cabaret in German language

And once again ROLF HOLUB! But this time completely different!

He and HERBERT BRANDSTÄTTER: Two people have found each other, musically and ideologically, in fooling around and asking questions.

Well, one of the two will be officially awarded soon. We think that's great, and it was high time, and it's been coming for a while. And this despite the fact that excellent politics supposedly no longer exists. And we are all heavily marked by it...

Things to laugh about and think about and answers to questions that were never asked. The new program of a Carinthian legend!

THREE TIGHT

Friday 10 Sept 2021 20:00

Three Tight

Wörthersee-Nostalgia with Rolf Holub, Heinz Köchl and Gert Prix

Who would have believed in the year 1974, that a student band would become one of the most iconic, most durable and pioneering carinthian formations, which, even after their official separation in 2000, still come together on stage for special occasions.

ROLF HOLUB, HEINZ KÖCHL and GERT PRIX have not only produced millions of music notes together, but also have created their own distinctive sound. With their infamous creativity they have etched themselves into the memories of three generations as the winners of the very first ORF "Große Chance" TV show in 1980, by their midnight shows, by their iconic autograph cards, by their interactive live musical request programme, which was the first of this type worldwide, by their talent shows etc. etc.

SCHOOL 'S OUT

Friday 2 July 2021 20:00

School's Out Party

The Great Era Of Dance Halls

What started in 2010 as a one-off reminiscence of fantastic summer hits has now established itself as the most successful end-of-school party for adults and is one big pain for Gert Prix year after year:

Which of the infinite number of fantastic summer hits may be part of the obligatory and now legendary School's Out Party this year? The choice is huuuuuuge!!!

No matter - in any case, this year the School's Out Band once again bathed together with its audience in a sea of great songs that brought back to life lots of wonderful memories!

And of course, this year's end-of-school party for adults was also a very special charity: Summer Splash and let's be charitable all in one!

As every year, all proceeds were donated to people in need.

SHUFFLE TRUFFLE

Saturday 12 Juni 2021 20:00

Special Blues with special guests

For more than a year we lived the blues. Not entirely by choice, and each in his own way! High time, then, to bring the beautiful sides of the blues back into our auditory canals.

So JÖRG „DR. J.“ HORINA (guitar, vocals), MICHAEL SCARPATETTI (bass) and HELFRIED GRYGAR (drums) have made it their duty to immediately and effectively remedy the acute lack of blues at the EBOARDMUSEUM.

For those who don't know them yet or haven't already joined them here at the EBOARDMUSEUM in October 2020: the band preferably plays their own compositions, but also interprets pieces by John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Larry Carlton, Brian Setzer and others.

The list of prominent artists SHUFFLE TRUFFLE has already worked with is impressive and long:

Peter Wolf (Frank Zappa, Commodores, Chicago), Alphonso Johnson (Santana, Chet Baker, George Duke), Vinnie Colaiuta (Sting, Barbra Streisand, Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock), Jennifer Allas (Ray Charles), Adrian Scott (Little River Band), Tom Riepl (Tom Riepl Band), A. J. , Oliver Gattringer, Willi Langer, Martin Payr (Rainhard Fendrich), Nader Rahy (Nena), Florian Hofer Band, Sarcophag, Musyl & Joseppa, Graz Symphonic Orchestra, Purple Bluze, New Quadrat, Wayne Darling, Karlheinz Miklin…

All great classics of this band of superlatives, including great hits also from their environment and their prehistory!!!

Of course, the hardware used by Hardware is also exactly on point: real Moog synthesizers, a Hammond C 3 and Hammond L 100 each, as Keith Emerson also played so furiously, Clavinet, an opulent guitar set, bass 7 strings and and and...

JOE COCKER COVER BAND

Friday 4 June 2021 19:00

Joe Cocker Cover Band

30 YEARS JOE COCKER COVERBAND

Anton "Su" Fuchs is an excellent Joe Cocker imitator. But: he is more than a copy of the original. "Su" not only has the voice, he breathes original aspects into the Cocker "rags". The seven-member group brings the Cocker songs absolutely true to the record across the stage.

The repertoire is rich: starting with With A Little Help From My Friends it goes on to Up Where We Belong, from where it leads to You Can Leave Your Hat On and N'oubliez Jamais, not to end by a long shot with Unchain My Heart.

ANTON "SU" FUCHS | Lead Vocals

HERBERT "BÜ" BÜSSECKER | Bass
ROBERT FELNER | Drums
THOMAS STRASSER | Keyboards

Friday 28 May 2021 19:00

BEST OF MOVIE - FIFTIES - SIXTIES - SEVENTIES

Experience how Mr. Blonde is gagged and dragged onto the stage, or how Mr. Pink rushes through the crowd in a frenzy. Mr. Orange gets an ear cut off, while Mr. Brown gets a bullet in the heart! And quietly tremble before Mr. White, who swings his baseball bat.

And the music? Well, simply the best of the best!

The greatest movie hits from the brilliant Quentin Tarantino movies! And Quentin proved his taste!

MICHAEL JEDLIČKA & BAND

Pop History: dark gray and bittersweet - the touching songs of Ludwig Hirsch

Most of the stars of Austro Pop have already graced the stage of the EBOARDMUSEUM. We are grateful for that, and we are also a little bit proud of it.

Ludwig Hirsch himself will not make it to Klagenfurt for well-known reasons. However, with Michael Jedlička and his band we have extremely worthy originals as guests, who will bring the somewhat bitter, dark gray but in the end always lovingly meant life's work of Ludwig Hirsch with the necessary humor and respect on stage!
