Tobacco Road Blues Band
IV
The TRBB has been around since 2013, whereby the musicians around founding members Mike Diwald and Peter Prammerdorfer started out as a typical blues cover band.
At some point, just playing the blues hits of Clapton, King, Johnson and co. was simply no longer enough for the bluesmen, so they quickly wrote their own songs. The first CD with exclusively self-composed material was released in 2017. Disc number 2 followed in 2018, and a live DVD called Live at the Museum was released the following year, while the band continued to work on new material.
Like all other artists, the pandemic naturally put a spanner in the works of the Tobaccos' live activities, but this did not dampen their creativity. The band has an international network of renowned musicians and so during the lockdown an album Papa Legba was created, which was realised with the participation of numerous musicians not only from Austria, but also Italy, Germany and the USA. This CD was presented in July 2021.
Despite all the fun of working in the studio, the TRBB is first and foremost a live band that was delighted to finally get back into concert mode after the pandemic-related break. This was followed by gigs at home and abroad and, of course, at the EBOARDMUSEUM, where we were welcoming them again in March 2025 with their CD IV.
The first concert was sold out within a short time, which is why a repeat performance was organised the following day.

MATTHIAS BUBLATH is a pianist, organist, and composer. He has performed at various festivals and events around the world, including the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Kora Awards (Johannesburg, South Africa), and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington, D.C.), and has toured throughout Japan. In addition to the piano and keyboard, Matthias is a specialist on the Hammond B3 organ and works with an organ trio as well as various other organ projects.
He has released eight CDs under his own name to date and presents a diverse and consistently groovy program. Matthias Bublath has shared the stage with jazz greats such as funk legend Mike Clark, Tower of Power saxophonist Lenny Picket, and Cuban percussionist Candido Camero.

Die Austropop Kapelle
A Whole Life for Austropop–Tour 2026
What do STS, Wolfgang Ambros, Rainhard Fendrich, Seiler & Speer and the EAV have in common? They’re performing on Friday, 1 May 2026, at the EBOARDMUSEUM in Klagenfurt.
Well, not the originals themselves, but certainly one of the best Austropop cover bands in the German-speaking world: THE AUSTROPOP KAPELLE.
For more than 25 years, the three Styrians CHRISTIAN A. RAUCH (guitars & vocals), MATTHIAS KÖCK (keyboards & vocals) and EWALD GAULHOFER (drums & vocals) have been touring the “stages of the world” with their Austropop programme, and so their “S ganze Leben für'n Austropop – Tour” 2026 will once again take them through Germany, South Tyrol, Switzerland and, last but not least, Austria.
Their programme brings all the greats of Austropop together on one stage. Alongside the highest standards of musicality and a joy of performance, the set list spans the full spectrum of well-known and lesser-known songs by STS, Wolfgang Ambros, Rainhard Fendrich, Georg Danzer, Hubert von Goisern, Falco, Peter Cornelius, EAV, Hansi Dujmic, Wilfried, Hansi Lang, Ostbahn-Kurti, right through to Udo Jürgens and Nickerbocker. The “young wild ones” of Austropop, such as Seiler & Speer, WANDA and others, will also be featured.
The result is a concert in a class of its own that leaves nothing to be desired in the Austropop genre.

Live Is Life
Ewald Pfleger, mastermind behind the cult band Opus, reads from his latest book
Talk and music with EWALD PFLEGER and ULI BRÈE as well as KURT GOBER and PAUL PFLEGER
Ewald Pfleger has plenty to tell. In March 2025, his book, a journey down memory lane to the heyday of Austropop, was launched. Following this, Ewald Pfleger and Uli Brée are embarking on a book tour, during which they will bring the book to life for the audience in an entertaining way, accompanied by fitting music.
In his book, he recounts his journey from a child in a children’s home to a celebrated rock star, the breathtaking career of the band OPUS, and how the song Live is Life changed his life.
The book is an exciting journey through over forty years of Austrian music history, as well as a declaration of love for making music, complete with many anecdotes from the industry. Live is Life: A song that first had a bit of a hiccup on a football pitch in Burgenland and then went on to travel around the world from there. For more than forty years, people on every continent have been singing this catchy tune and its Nana Nanana…

The Sound Of Carlos S
Latin-Blues-Rock-Alegría Tribute Show
THE SOUND OF CARLOS S is dedicated to the music of Carlos Santana.
This music brilliantly blends blues with gospel, Latin American popular music and Afro-Cuban rhythms. The unmistakable, Grammy-winning sound of Carlos Santana’s guitar has been thrilling audiences for several generations.
THE SOUND OF CARLOS S brings the magical power of the melodies straight to the hearts of the audience, whilst the Latin grooves leave no one unmoved – the only thing to do is dance!
Guitarist Hannes Seidl and percussionist Andi Steirer honed their ‘Latin skills’ in South America, where they had the opportunity to collaborate with Brazilian musicians on various projects.
The fascination with Afro-Cuban rhythms and the ‘alegría’ inherent in Latin American music led to the formation of the tribute band THE SOUND OF CARLOS S in 2016.
THE SOUND OF CARLOS S sounds just like the Latin rock band ‘Santana’ and, alongside the evergreens, also performs lesser-known gems from Santana’s vast repertoire.

Carpenters Once More
Pop History: Carpenters
CARPENTERS ONCE MORE was formed by singer MICHAELA KOGLER-TROLL and pianist KLAUS BERGMAIER. Both have been and continue to be involved in a wide variety of musical genres, but by chance they came together as ardent Carpenters fans and initially formed a Carpenters tribute duo, which was soon expanded.
CARPENTERS ONCE MORE not only want to revive the Carpenters' greatest hits, such as Close To You, Yesterday Once More, Top of The World, etc., but also present lesser-known ballads. The Carpenters' treasure trove of songs is enormous – what a joy it is when another musical gem from this rich collection is discovered and rehearsed!
With their music, they evocatively revive the flair of the 1970s and the "radiance" of the Carpenters' songs.

The Stars
Pop History: Rolling Stones
If you look at the STONES' current live concerts, you realise that there are a lot of great musicians on stage alongside the masters themselves. Firstly, of course, there is Daryll Jones, the great bassist of the Stones, as well as Chuck Leavall, the brilliant pianist, organist and arranger. Or the long-time boss of the backing choir, Lisa Fisher (sadly no longer with them), who sang Mick to the ground from time to time. Not forgetting Keith's old mate, saxophonist Bobby Keys (RIP Bobby). The list goes on and on.
Some critics claim that the STONES only go to such lengths so that it's not so noticeable if 'Keef' misses the mark again ;-) THE STARS believe otherwise: Mick, Keef, Ronny and Charlie (RIP) simply enjoy playing live with these fantastic musicians! After 60 years (!) in showbiz with many ups and downs, the guys simply want to present their extensive musical repertoire perfectly - and that requires this large line-up.
This is exactly the crux of the matter. It's all about authenticity! THE STARS are not so presumptuous as to seriously compare themselves with their idols. Nevertheless, they present the fat and varied sound of STONES live concerts and their show as perfectly as possible. As true fans, they don't just want to offer the well-known hits, but also present rarer songs from the STONES' huge repertoire.

Very Old Stoariegler Dixielandband
Anniversary Tour
The forefathers of Dixieland are unstoppable and unbeatable:
It has been 50 years since clarinettist Johannes Hödl founded what is probably Austria's most original Dixieland band in Fürstenfeld on the "Stoariegl-Berg". Now Johannes Hödl is gathering together the (surviving) founding fathers of the OLD STOARIEGLER DIXIELANDBAND and filling concert halls and pubs once again. So the founding fathers – with a combined age of 441 years – are touring the country as the VERY OLD STOARIEGLER DIXIELANDBAND.
In addition to comical arrangements and old Dixieland earworms by Luis Armstrong, Chris Barber and Louis Prima, among others, they have plenty of stories to tell. From working with Fatty George and trumpeter Oscar Klein to the day the band almost played as the opening act for Rod Stewart.
And there is no end in sight to their success story: "The Rolling Stones will be 63 this year. We want to beat them by at least one year – because we are unstoppable," say the musicians in unison.
The current line-up of the VERY OLD STOARIEGLER DIXIELANDBAND:
JIRI MASACEK | Trumpet
JOHANNES HÖDL | Clarinet
ARTHUR FANDL | Trombone
PETER LORENZ | Piano
SIGI FLAMISCH | Guitar, banjo and vocals
GERHARD STEINRÜCK | Double bass
AARON OFNER | Drums

The Roaring Sixties Company may have seen the light of day in Austria, but as a band Liverpool opened its eyes. The company gave highly acclaimed concerts at the legendary Cavernclub and also at Hamburg's Kaiserkeller, where the Beatles' unprecedented career began.

Ulli BÄER, Matthias KEMPF and Andy BAUM
An Evening for Three
The three Austropop artists ULLI BÄER, MATTHIAS KEMPF and ANDY BAUM have known and appreciated each other for years. They have been playing concerts together since 2019. Originally, only a few "Evenings For Three" were planned, but now the trio is entering its eighth year together. Their mutual curiosity and joy in constantly new interpretations and the joint discovery of lesser-known works are too great. No two evenings are the same. And that's a good thing!
Their musical repertoire includes their own songs and borrowed ones, arranged for three guitars and three distinctive voices.
Andy Baum's Slow Down and Still Remember Yvonne are sometimes on the programme, as are new songs in dialect. Ulli Bäer will of course be performing his hits Der Durscht and Alle Lichter, among others, and Matthias Kempf will be playing both his quiet and his cheerful, lively songs.
Garnished with wonderful anecdotes, this evening is a wonderful opportunity for fans of handmade music to listen, enjoy and laugh!

Tex Mex
Country Rock
The name TEX MEX says it all: Rock without Frontiers!
Five musicians from Austria and Slovenia play a cross-genre rock mix with songs by the Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Little Feat, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Hiatt, Sting, Willy DeVille etc. as well as their own material.
The songs in their repertoire are mostly performed live in their original versions as a tribute to the greats of rock, but that doesn't mean there isn't enough room for crazy solo duels between guitars and keyboards.
The band was founded in 1996 and is back performing live after a 10-year hiatus.
The joy of making music together remains unbroken, and the stage experience gained in various projects gives TEX MEX the maturity of long-established rock bands.

Die Wödmasta
DIE WÖDMASTA (The World Champions) are a duo. One that makes no secret of its drive to move forward and upward. Like the archetypal Austrian, Die Wödmasta are masters in just about every discipline. Or, as they say in their neighbourhood: in pretty much everything. Melodies, harmonious singing and storytelling are the Maggi cubes in their soup. Die Wödmasta tell stories of fighting, love, drinking, small joys in big things, failure and getting back up again. They are serialised novels set to music, with which they restore a measure of dignity and hope to the battered Austrian soul.
Behind the project are two fixed stars of the local music scene: ROLAND VOGL and DIETMAR BAUMGARTNER. The former plays guitar in Wolfgang Ambros' band, the latter strums the electric guitar in Alkbottle. They got together in 2016. And together they transform pop classics from the 70s and 80s into genuine dialect songs, shake off the odd Austropop song live, but also have their own hits (Amsterdam, Den Wurschtl kann kana daschlogn) up their sleeves. After numerous singles and the EP No Na Ned, produced in collaboration with Thomas Stipsits, their debut album Heast was released in spring 2020. Wann di da Teifl reit, their second studio album, picked up in 2022 where its predecessor left off, adding even more sharpness and depth.
With their finely woven dialect songs, Die Wödmasta once again provide the social glue and refreshingly accurate soundtrack to these turbulent times.
